Membership

New members are very welcome at our club but you don't have to be a member to experience the game of bowls. If you've never played and would like to try, contact our Membership Secretary, Graham Ramsey, 01353 614990 or email the club (cityofelybowlsclub@btconnect.com) to arrange a time. You don't need any equipment, just wear flat bottomed shoes or trainers. We'll provide the bowls and the coaching to get you started. There are regular coaching sessions for beginners on a Sunday evening at 7.00pm or during the week at various times.

To join the club you are invited to complete an application form. As you will see from the form, the application requires both a proposer and seconder from an existing member before going before the Committee for acceptance or refusal. A letter is then sent out informing you of the result.

Full Membership enables you to play at all times and in any league team.

Social Membership allows you to use all of the club facilities except the bowling green.

A Junior or Cadet Member (Under 18)can play at any time including evening leagues.
